The H Window Nordic Door is manufactured to the same high standard as our window products. As well, all of our exterior colors and woods are available in the Nordic Door.

The Nordic Door is so structurally sound that it used in hundreds of commercial applications. To provide unmatched performance year after year the Nordic Door comes with a fourth hinge near the top to prevent any possibility of sagging.

European in design, the Nordic Door swings outward to preserve floor space. As well, this out swing design produces the lowest possible air and water infiltration.

Besides strength, security and versatility the Nordic Door can achieve unmatched thermal performance with U-factor ratings as low .28.

On the double wide door system each door is fully operational. For commercial applications the Nordic Door can be equipped with special entry handles, "panic bars," and even remote locking systems. The Nordic door can also be fitted with threshold plates for ADA compliance.

The Nordic Door is designed for security with its 3-point locking system. Because of this locking system, it would be easier to break into the Nordic door through the exterior hinging system than through the locks!

The Nordic Door can be equipped with a mini blind system. Unlike other mini blind systems which inhibit thermal performance, the H Window mini blind system enhances it, because it incorporates an additional layer of glass.

For residential applications the Nordic Door comes standard with a unique wind brake stop that allows the active leaf (door) to be locked in any position. This latch system locks the door in any open position with a simple twist of the handle. The Nordic Door can also be equipped with an interior retractable screen.

Just like the H Window, all of the Nordic Doors are custom made so there is no up-charge for special sizes.
